It’s hard to believe the role of Alicia Florrick could have went to anyone other than the multiple Emmy-winning Julianna Margulies. Producers were originally considering Leaving Las Vegas and Adventures in Babysitting star Elisabeth Shue to play the tough yet vulnerable attorney in The Good Wife. Margulies played Alicia off the back of ‘90s medical drama ER. Both shows were bonafide hits for the actress, and have made Margulies one of the highest grossing TV actors of all time.
