Being a part of the military can be like finding a home for many people all around the world. However, not every country has a military at all. In fact, there are 23 countries in this world that have no armed forces, including Iceland, Costa Rica, Monaco, and Grenada. Perhaps they are looking to save money without having a military to spend on? However, in America, there is a full and thriving armed forces that are ready and waiting to protect the homeland. Did you know there are so many people in the U.S. military it is considered to be the country’s biggest employer? That’s right, 3 million people have all signed their names on the dotted line. Out of the forces, the Air Force makes up the second largest branch, with a $161 million budget. Plus, they have more than 310,000 active personnel all ready and waiting should they be needed. So what happens when it’s time for them to strap in and take to the skies? Of course, only the best fighter jets will do when it comes to the U.S. military.

The Air Force might be one of the most prominent branches of the American military, but did you know there have been some famous faces over donning the uniform over the years? Over the years, the American Air Force has grown to become the strongest of its kind in the world, even beating the likes of China and Russia for the top spot. As well as increasing in numbers, the Air Force has also extended their duties to include protecting the country from any threats from space. After all, you have to think about the future.
