If we asked you to make a mental inventory of the absolute toughest jobs in the world, you might list off the president of the U.S., an astronaut or maybe a pilot. The actual world’s toughest job, however, is one that might not immediately come to mind, and it’s done completely on a volunteer basis! We’re talking, naturally, about moms. Since man first began walking upright, and possibly a little before, moms have been telling their kids (and sometimes husbands) to knock it off.
Many would go so far as to swear moms have a sixth sense. This supernatural ability allows them to pick up on the smallest of cues to suss out the truth regarding their families. You don’t have to show them where it hurts, or that you had a bad day. They just know. Well… Most of the time, anyway. Sometimes moms can miss some crucial details, as one stepdad discovered – and then shared with the world.
