Carrie’s memoir was released in 2016, long after Ford’s marriage to Mary Marquardt was over (they divorced in 1979 and he went on to remarry twice). So when Carrie sent Harrison an advanced copy of the book, so he wouldn’t feel ambushed, Ford jokingly responded with ‘lawyer!’. It had been long enough ago that it wasn’t relevant to anyone other than millions of Star Wars fans who were thrilled that the two actually had the fling.
