We just can’t get enough of the summer. The sun, the heat, the beach, the foods, the tan, the fun. Everything is just so much better in the summer, isn’t it? But one more way we love to enjoy the summer is to make some of the yummiest smoothies to cool us down from the intense heat. Not only does this keep us hydrated, but it’s also a great way to get the all important vitamins, minerals, and fruits into your body in a delicious way. What could be better? So grab a smoothie, grab your unicorn floatie and lay out in the pool. You deserve it.

Green Goddess Smoothie

If you struggle to eat your greens when they’re on your plate, the Green Goddess smoothie is the best way to get all of your antioxidants into your body in a yummy way. The nutrients and antioxidants in this smoothie are important in protecting your eyes and your vision in the burning summer sun. For this smoothie, you’ll need spinach, cucumber, kiwifruit, avocado, vanilla frozen yogurt, fresh orange juice and mint leaves. Mash it all together, blend it all up and drink up! This will only set you back 188 calories, too.

Tropical Twist

All we want from our summer is to sit on a beach in the middle of the Bahamas, basking in the sun and drinking pina colada – is that too much to ask? Well, for those of us who can’t afford that, we’re going to have to settle for sitting in our backyard, on a deck chair, drinking this Tropical Twist smoothie (which isn’t a bad trade). This smoothie consists of pineapple chunks, coconut water, carrots, ice cubes, coconut flakes, agave nectar and chia seeds. Because of the ingredients, this smoothie will keep your thirst naturally quenched, and the coconut water will keep you super hydrated! It’s also incredibly yummy.

Berry Good Smoothie

We love a good pun; it’s berry funny. This smoothie is also berry delicious. Our favorite smoothie is one that involves berries, as we love the natural sweetness that comes with the fruit. The Berry Good Smoothie includes strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, honey, lemon juice and ice cubes and not only makes a delicious smoothie – but it also looks darn amazing and fresh. If you’re feeling really naughty, you can add a little prosecco to the smoothie and place them in ice-pop molds overnight to make some awesome alcoholic smoothie ice pops. You won’t regret it!

Healthy High C Smoothie

For all of you health-conscious smoothie lovers, this smoothie is quite possibly one of the most nutritious and low-calorie smoothies ever. At just 92 calories per serving, this smoothie will fill you up and give you a whopping 186% of your daily vitamin C intake! Made up of kiwifruits, kale, cilantro, fresh orange juice, celery and ice cubes, this glorious green smoothie tastes surprisingly delicious.

Sunrise Smoothie

Sometimes, you just crave a cocktail. But you know you have to be good (and it’s seven o’clock in the morning), so you settle for a mocktail instead. This epic smoothie is the perfect alternative for a mocktail and looks exactly like something you’d be sipping on Miami Beach. The Sunrise Smoothie consists of mango, lime juice, bananas, ginger, honey and ice cubes. Puree all of these ingredients into a glass and set it to one side. In your blender, mash up watermelon and pour it on top of the mix to make a glorious sunrise effect. At just 148 calories per serving, you’re not being TOO naughty.
