Twice a week, Sherri drops off Tyler and Violet at daycare and heads out on a jog. Her neighbors often saw the mom running through the winding roads so weren’t surprised to see her out on her usual route on November 2, 2016. Sherri text her husband, Keith, asking if they would be having lunch together, but hadn’t heard back. Instead, she laced up her shoes and headed out the front door. Only, it didn’t take long for the daycare to realize something had happened. Sherri hadn’t arrived to pick up the two children – something that had never happened before. Where could she possibly be?
