From Valentine’s Day 1929, The Brown Derby restaurant was the prime spot to see celebrities.

Sadly, the building burned down in 1987 and hundreds of celebrity portraits went up with the restaurant.

Located within the Ambassador Hotel, the Cocoanut Grove was the place for the big band and swing music.
